How quickly will cut eyelashes grow back?
I just got my hair cut, and (while cutting my bangs) the lady cut my eyelashes by accident. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How long did it take for them to grow back?
My eyelashes are not falling out, there’s just a small section where they’re shorter and cut bluntly. I’m fairly sure I don’t have that disease.
Honestly I’m not sure that she cut my lashes, but I got my bangs trimmed yesterday, and I definitely have not gone near my eyes with scissors!
Dont worry, they will grow back eventually because the cut ones will fall out and then other ones will replace them, it may take a month or so though, she must have been dangerously close to your eyes!

They honestly wont grow back, you may well loose your eyelashes, because the cuticles are now damaged.

many complications and symptoms mostly in women. Get your thyroid checked by your doctor (he will do a simple blood test)and he can put you on medication to get your
thyroid back in gear and help alleviate sparse eye lashes.
Something that all of us can do to protect our eye lashes is to treat them with care. A lifetime of using an eyelash curler or pulling and playing with them can cause them to
fall out. Continual trauma to hair follicles can do permanent damage. Only curl your lashes on special occasions or use one of the new curling wand mascaras to protect your eye lashes.

Dang! you must have some long eyelashes for them to get cut. Right now Im using L’Oreal Lash boosting serum, its like 12 bucks for just the serum, available at any drugstore. It extends the lifetime of your lashes so instead of falling out every 15 weeks they stay in longer and thus grow longer and are healthy and thick. I was skeptical but its worked for me and is cheap!!! I would use that and a lengthening mascara like Long Pretty Lashes by Clinique =) Eeek to think she could have poked your eye!

Eyelashes don’t grow back, after the old ones fall out new ones grow in. So you are basically going to have to wait for the old, cut ones to fall out. And do not pull your eyelashes out thinking that new ones will grow back in their place because it does not work that way. Trust me, there was a girl in one of my classes that would pull out her lashes when she was stressed and now she has to wear false lashes, which you might want to do while waiting for yours to go through their cycle.
