How to remove waterproof eyelash glue from chiffon?

So tonight while I was getting ready I accidentally got waterproof lash glue on a chiffon top that I love dearly. I have only blotted it with warm water and tried picking it off but neither really helped. I was tempted to just wash it in the washing machine but I want to make sure the glue will come out.
Can anyone tell me how to get it off without damaging the chiffon?
