How is it that ‘blue-back’ appears blacker than actual black, e.g. eyelash dye, and bluish-white appears whiter than actual white, e.g. blue colourants added to washing powder to make whites appear brighter?
It’s intuitively illogical that blue could achieve both ends, yet it’s true. How is it so?
Sorry, title should read "made black appear blacker…"
Black: Adding blue increases the absorption of blue light making the black appear darker (Subtractive color)
White: Both sun light and incandescent light is slightly yellow. Add blue and the white appears brighter (Additive color)

I had this incident and well like alot alot of my eyelashes were pulled off by the root and they are finally like a little point so they are growing back….but not fast. any ways to make them grow back faster?
Your eyelashes grow at a similar rate to the hair on your head and IMHO if you had pulled out the follicle this may be a bit of a problem.
Be careful when cleaning the eye area and use only very mild products applied very gently. Do not rub the eyes either. Try to keep away from make up as much as possible until there is some growth.
You may have heard that things like castor oil will help the lashes grow, but there is no scientific evidence that this is so. Nature will take its course, but you can help it along with using eyelash growth serums that are applied like an eye liner, close to the lashes, once a day (don’t be tempted to use it more or your eyes may get sore). Growth will be increased and in 2-4 weeks, the lashes will be longer, stronger, denser and darker. Clinical trials have been carried out for these products.
More drastic, but you can get eyelash implants or extensions that are glued to what you have already and last from 2 to 8 weeks. Implants are very expensive and extensions will cost you between $200 and $500 dollars and must be applied by a professional.
IMHO the serums may give you a boost at a realistic cost. For more information about getting longer eyelashes, go to http://eyelashgrower.org
Hope that helps.

I just got the badgal lash mascara yesterday and I absolutely love it! I would really like to wear it tomorrow but I know I’ll sweat a bit. I have a maybelline waterproof XXL Pro Extension one, but it smudges SO MUCH! even if i dont rub my eyes. Which would be a better option for tomorrow to minimize smudging?
it depends on how much you sweat. If you sweat then a little WILL rub off and look like you put eyeliner on the bottom lid of your eyes. But you can prevent that if you bring maybe 1 or 2 q tips with you. But unless you rub your eyes no horrible damage will happen.

I wear fake lashes everyday so i wanted know whether the glue for the fake lashes could affect my own lash growth ( i.e stop growing) im scared…
they wont stop growing but.. the glue would damage ur natural lashes … might even pill dem off… so if u could use them less … n try to ticken up ur reall lashes for day long n jus use them fakes for dinig out parties dates n stuff,,,,
